Tecumseh Overnight kicks off!

Waterville Valley Summer Camp campers joined the Rey Center’s summer education intern, Chazz Peterson, research assistant Jim VanGyzen, and research coordinator, Kim Votta, on their first Tecumseh Overnight this season. A brief shower did not dampen our spirits (though we scrambled for trash bags and ponchos to cover our packs) as we hiked our way up the steep trail of Mount Tecumseh. An evening of indoor programs on astronomy and climate change, pizza, brownies, and games made for an overall great trip capped off by a beautiful double rainbow that came in with the clouds and evening thunderstorms. Join us on one of our public trips on July 17, August 20, or September 3, or book your own group trip!
